These Cream Legbar hybrid beauties, although not recognized by APA, lay approximately 280 eggs per year in their heritage color of blue, with the bonus of green, light brown, and even pink-tinted eggs! The pullet weighs around 4 pounds while the cockerel weighs around 5 pounds. These chickens are sweet and docile and are not related to the Americana or Araucana lines. They should not be confused as an Easter Egger. The bird has its roots in the Cream Legbar lines. As chicks, the pullets have a variety of looks including some that are brown with dark stripes, some that are red with yellow mottling, and yet others that can vary from lighter brown to solid yellow. These birds are heat and cold tolerant, allowing them to thrive in almost any climate in the US. Conservation status is not applicable.
